HRP Mamas Guided Toddler Parenting Support Group   

STARTS 3/21/23
We are thrilled to bring HRP Mamas and HRP Papas members, a guided, expert-led, support group specifically for parents of toddlers! Join a small group of local parents of toddlers, and early childhood educator and co-director of Downtown Little School, Meredith Gary, for five weekly hour-long virtual live group sessions.

The HRP Mamas Toddler Parenting Support Group is a great way to receive tailored support, specific to your child, while creating bonds with a cohort of parents who live in Lower Manhattan. Come get support on limit setting, potty training, food struggles, tantrums, transition difficulties, separation anxiety, sleep issues, and more! 

Each session will include a brief intro to a key parenting issue, plus check-ins and most importantly, trouble-shooting with participants on real-life issues. Topics of discussion include:

• Daily Routines, Eating & Sleeping
• Setting Limits, Tantrums & Handling Challenging Behavior
• Activities & Play that Support Development
• Playground, Playdates & Socialization
• Separation & Starting School
• Potty Training


A private chat group will be provided for additional ad-hoc in person meet-ups and communication between sessions.

Space limited to ensure a quality experience.

Meredith Gary
Meredith Gary is the Co-Director of the Downtown Little School.  With 27 years of experience in early childhood education, Meredith has supported hundreds of children and families through tantrums, separation, toilet training ( and more!). Meredith is also the author of a children’s book called Sometimes You Get What You Want, published by Harper Collins. Listen to Meredith discuss separation on a podcast here. Meredith has a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Bank Street College Graduate School of Education.
