Please join us for a community workshop and healing space for Asian and Asian American mothers, fathers, and allies to share experiences during the escalation of Anti-Asian racism. The workshop will be led by Dr. Jasmine Ueng McHale.
Join us in discussing: • The many emotions that come up in response to anti-Asian racism • History of racialization of Asians and anti-Asian racism in the U.S. • Parenting during this time • Ways to better care for ourselves, support one another and work to make change in our communities
Non-Asian/Asian American participants are welcome and are asked to honor and center the emotions and experiences of those who identify as Asian or Asian American. The workshop will involve a combination of presentation, discussion, and journaling. Please bring pen and paper.
